Here's the beginning of a drawing , to finish as you wish. Post your finished version on your blog and I will link to it in a special blogroll on the right during October. There's no deadline, you can finish it after October 1 as long as you let me know the link in the comments here or by email. One person has already posted, but I won't start the links till October 1, on which day I'll post my own finished version. After October, AKA the start of the HolidaySeason, the right hand side will be featuring many (many!) wonderful items of my own for purchase at redbubble or etsy, among them an Alice Calendar. Or maybe a book? Anyone have any preferences - the cost is the same, the book would have more pictures than the calendar.

Nice idea ArtSparker. My drawings are so bad, they're almost good.Actually, no, they're just like really bad.But faint heart never fecked a pig, so count me in dude!
Hi ya........does it have to be a drawing? ; )
A fun idea. I'm afraid my drawing skills are non existent. Maybe I will find another way to join in.
CM - I think a collage treatment would be fine also.
I might give it a try. I have some ideas already, but whether I can draw them is another kettle of fish.
I vote calendar.
P.S. My Alice t-shirt arrived in perfect shape! Except it's not really mine, I'm giving it to my sister for her birthday. I'll let you know how it is received!
go for the book! A Grand Idea.
I will give the drawing a go.
My rapidograph fairly wriggles in my fingers with unbridled desire to complete that drawing.

Speaking of t-shirts; I'm wearing my most favorite Artspark Uh-Oh T at work today. In addition to being a joy to myself, I think it also spooks my fellow workers a bit, which is fine by me, 'cuz then they leave me alone and I actually get something done. For a change.
Highly recommended.

Looking forward to checking out the Alice merchandise!
I'll have a go at this. And would most surely by the book( oh bother, the calendar, as well ) :)
I've posted mine.
I like the idea of a calendar and I like the idea of a book (hope that's helpful) :-)
ok, i am on it.
this looks like fun..looking forward to what everyone comes up with...mine will go up sometime soon.
What fun! Brings back glorious memories of coloring books that had little partial pictures to finish on your own. Here is my interpretation: http://365catladies.blogspot.com/2009/09/cat-lady-no-261collaboration.html
oooh! I hope I have time to try it out, I have some ideas already.
redlinc - I will be posting the links through the end of October.

I'm in such a hurry to get over to redbubble that I can barely type..I came over from Ribbon's place and yes please may I join in the illustration challenge...may we use colour? After I've ordered my Alice calendar and other treasures no doubt, I will come back to catch up on all that I've missed while away on house-hunting safari's recently....
I have an idea for a drawing on your illustration. So count me in.
Hey, Susan. Here's the link to my addition to the challenge: http://dustincovan.blogspot.com/2009/10/art-spark-theatre-challenge.html

Great idea. I had to play, even if my work was a little rushed. Grab an idea when you have it, right? Here's the link to my blog and my addition to the Challenge:
