I need to download firefox again to try with a different browser, or possibly just wait to see if it's one of those waves of chaos that periodically pass through blogger...

As some Lost fans say: what matters most is not who wins or looses, who is right or who is wrong, but the journey itself. Ithaka is just a pretext for the journey.
Years ago, for about one week, every time my mom and I ended a phone conversation she'd say triumphantly, "the one with the crown is the queen!" I'd always say, "what???" and she told me I'd soon find out ... then one day she came over and was sporting this fabulously handmade crown that she bought at a thrift shop - looked to be from a theatre's costume department. I still have that crown. Your lovely post today reminded me.
I too have had problems with blogger - posting photos and viewing others. definitely a blogger problem....they seem to experience this every few months.
I couldn't get any photos to upload yesterday. Sometimes I think my internet connection is bad, sometimes I think it's Firefox, most of the time I really have no clue.

Sorry blogger has the bug right now.
I had the same problem for half this day with blogger and photos, all seems fine now. That crown sure looks heavy, I wonder if that was what she expected.
