Tea Party Tilt

Here Alice is the Ghost in the Machine. All amusement parks, even the tiniest (I worked at one once for a summer job) seem to have the Alice teacup ride.

I'm thinking about doing some fairly simple papercuts for Alice and have been looking at the beautiful work here.

....and here there be dragons.

Wonderful image! (I always wished I could go on those teacup rides - but they made me feel too spinny.)

Such a simple idea and yet so striking an image! Brilliant!

Wondering if they even still have teacup rides, anywhere? The Tilt-a-whirl has always been a fave of mine :)

And way cool linkage!

This reminds me, I need to get out your Alice you sent me and set her up for a photoshoot, especially with the movie out an all! Well done Susan!

is one of those saucers "lusterware"?--well, Alice does look cozy tucked in there among the beautiful china-"gears". Imaginative! It HAS to be fun to be you and dream this stuff up! Thanks for the links too.

Would love to see what you would create with paper cuts. It's one of my favorite forms of art...

I love the gleam and glimmer of this!

We followed a tea-cup ride up the motorway yesterday, who knows where?
