The Walrus and the Carpenter
Were walking close at hand;
They wept like anything to see
Such quantities of sand:
"If this were only cleared away,'
They said, "it would be grand!'
– Through the Looking Glass, Chapter Four
This is the introductory bout of weeping, they weep more later on while consuming the oysters.

You may have outdone yourself here!
:)
I'm liking the button beach and diggin' the coolio walrus.
those buttons are exactly right! I love the carpenter in particular...he weeps so well.
I really have no idea why I like this so much- but I just do!
Love the oysters. I'm not sure I will be able to think of buttoning buttons the same after this.
I've always loved this peculiar exchange between The Walrus and the Carpenter.
susan,
i like your blog...
the effects created on the pictures are great...
congrats...
Fantastic. Love the "location."
But the buttons are not chocolate ones... now I am weeping!
Love this, and the buttons are the icing on the cake!
I like the whole image, your characters and the buttons, the outstanding touch.
Just a note: most of these buttons are antique and made from mother of pearl.
I always wondered what happened to Pearl's mother.
TFe-
Dupree took a pistol and he robbed that jewelry store, then he shot Pearl's mother.
