What an effective detail. I've been thinking a lot about metaphorical language today. I was trying to explain "head in the clouds" to one of my students and he just couldn't grasp it. . . despite being a person who could be described in just this way. (I wouldn't like to say he is pea-brained, exactly.)
BTW, I received my Charlotte Bronte t-shirt and my Alice cards today. They look great. I'm going to wear Charlotte to my yoga class!
