I'm interrupting the tea party with one from Looking Glass, the White Sheep's shop where "the large bright thing" keeps eluding Alice by mysteriously slipping from shelf to shelf. The tea party will resume in my second post today, but I wanted an excuse to link to two new shops:Check them out for beautifully sensuous textile art.

There's something very tactile about this scene... makes me want to touch it.
Lots of fascinating little tidbits like that in the Alic stories.

Porcupine and cornucopia are like relatives in the kingdom of words!
I fancy quite a few of those bits in the White Sheep's shop!
